History of Radzwill Palace - Wedding Palace in Krakow

Balice is one of the oldest settlements in the area of Krakow. Derive their splendor from the sixteenth century, when it became the property of the patrician family of Boners. They built their suburban mansions there, which has hosted a number of eminent personalities cultural and political life. A similar role was played by Balice in later centuries, was then owned by such Firlej and Szymbeków. In the nineteenth century, Balice became the property of Radziwill - the prince Dominik ordered the reconstruction of the palace to krakow architect Tadeusz Stryjeński. The palace, surrounded by a beautiful park, with its eclectic style with elements of the Polish Baroque, now belongs to the Krakow Institute of Animal Production.
